Nov 07, 2024 - FASSelangor FC are currently in Republic of Korea to play the second match of the AFC Champions League Two (ACL2) 2024/25 Group H, meeting Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors FC today at 6pm (local time), at the Jeonju World Cup Stadium, Jeonju, Republic of Korea.
Selangor FC have been drawn in Group H with three clubs from three different countries, Muangthong United F.C. (Thailand), Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors (Republic of Korea) and Dynamic Herb Cebu FC (Philippines) to face Group H of ACLTwo.
The Red Giants squad has led Group H with seven points, followed by Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors in second place with six points, then Muangthong United F.C. with two points and Cebu F.C. in fourth place with one point.
According to Abditaah Hassan, interim Head Coach of Selangor FC, knows the quality of the opposing team but firmly wants to win.
"Our focus remains focused on this match after winning against Kedah Darul Aman last week. Of course, we saw their last game, it ended in a draw, but this is not a measure of their quality because they have a lot of quality players, we don't know who will start because both their teams consist of great players. However, we are here to give them a good game, score goals and get a good result," he said.
Nikola Jambor, Selangor FC's new import player wants to maintain the first position, "We are expecting a tough game especially playing in front of their fans in their own stadium but we aim to stay top of Group H and we will try to do everything we can to make it happen."
As for the players’ update, Safuwan Baharudin could not be with the team due to fever. Sharul Nazeem suffered a quadriceps injury and Noor Al-Rawabdeh suffered an Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) injury.
The Selangor FC management believes in the team's preparation against the Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors FC team this evening. Come on, Red Giants!
Demi Kebanggaan!
